Blueprint Studio Desktop Application AI Models and Algorithms Usage Notice and User Statement
Last updated: September 15, 2026
This Service has been formulated with reference to the compliance specifications of the User Agreement . In the pre-processing and slicing of Reflex series additive manufacturing equipment, the Blueprint Studio desktop application integrates a dedicated algorithm system based on deep neural networks and feature extraction. To protect users' rights and interests in 3D data, regulate model input behavior, and clarify the boundary of responsibility between physical printing and algorithm assistance, this Algorithm and Model Usage Notice and User Statement is hereby formulated.
1. Algorithm and Model Mechanisms
The end-to-end intelligent solution for the full pre-processing and slicing workflow of Reflex series additive manufacturing equipment centers on three major algorithm systems: intelligent 3D mesh classification, intelligent orientation, and intelligent support.
1.1 Intelligent 3D Mesh Classification Algorithm
Basic Principles: Relies on deep learning models to recognize the geometric form and features of 3D models, and performs fast automatic classification of imported models.
Operating Mechanism: The algorithm automatically perceives the geometric form of the model and assigns it to the corresponding workpiece category, providing the basis for subsequent process parameter matching and automated processing.
Application Scenarios: Model import pre-check, automatic workpiece type recognition, and slicing process rule matching.
Purpose and Intent: Eliminates the cumbersome manual identification and classification operations, matches targeted pre-processing strategies for different types of workpieces, and improves the accuracy and operational efficiency of downstream process-related algorithms.
1.2 Intelligent 3D Mesh Orientation Algorithm
Basic Principles: Combining the form of the 3D model with additive manufacturing process rules, intelligently computes the reasonable placement angle and spatial posture of the model on the build platform.
Operating Mechanism: Based on model classification and features, the algorithm automatically recommends and adjusts the optimal print posture and orientation, balancing the structural stability under load and the surface quality of the printed part.
Application Scenarios: Automated model layout, one-click print angle adjustment, and load optimization of printed surfaces.
Purpose and Intent: Lowers the process-experience threshold for model placement, reduces pull-off/detachment or surface defects caused by improper placement, and improves the print success rate.
1.3 Intelligent Support Generation Algorithm
Basic Principles: By identifying the overhang features and load-bearing regions of the 3D model, automatically builds physical support structures that combine firm support with easy removability.
Operating Mechanism: After the placement posture is determined, the algorithm intelligently locates the lowest point and weak overhang regions of the model, automatically generates pillars and contact points, and users can also make local fine adjustments according to actual process requirements.
Application Scenarios: One-click automatic support addition, intelligent reinforcement of overhang structures, and optimization of easily removable contact points.
Purpose and Intent: Replaces the time-consuming and labor-intensive manual point-placement process, reduces material consumption while ensuring stable printing of the model, and reduces post-processing sanding damage.
2. Algorithm Operations and Model Management
Model Hot Updates and Incremental Deployment: While the base model version remains unchanged, the intelligent orientation and intelligent support ONNX files for each category support cloud-based incremental hot updates and selective downloads, to continuously improve processing accuracy for specific product categories.
User Error Reporting and Feedback Channel: If a user discovers process defects in the automatically generated placement angle or support points, they can submit the case through the feedback entry in the client; the HeyGears technical team will verify it and incorporate it into the algorithm retraining set.
3. Service Limitations and User Statement
Physical Printing Disclaimer: Additive manufacturing is affected by multiple physical conditions, including equipment calibration status, the physicochemical properties of consumables, ambient temperature and humidity, and cleaning and curing processes. The placement angles and support solutions output by AI models or algorithms are for process reference only and do not constitute an absolute guarantee of successful final printing. Before initiating a physical print, users must manually review the sliced layer state and critical load-bearing supports, and bear the final production decision responsibility.
Special Notice for Medical and Critical Engineering Parts: If this Service is used to manufacture dental medical devices, prostheses/restorations, or industrial load-bearing parts, the solutions generated by AI models or algorithms cannot replace compliance assessments by professional technicians, physicians, or engineers; users must strictly follow industry technical standards for manual review and validation.
Data Collection and Compliance Authorization for the "Blueprint Studio User Experience Improvement Program": If users choose to join the "Blueprint Studio User Experience Improvement Program," the system will automatically collect, through Blueprint Studio, the geometric features of the 3D meshes invoked by the algorithms and the success/failure status of print jobs on the device, for fine-tuning training. Users must ensure that the uploaded 3D models do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights, trade secrets, or privacy, and are strictly prohibited from uploading classified data, data that endangers public safety, or non-compliant 3D data.
Generation Labeling and Compliance Obligations: When users publish or disseminate 3D model data or engineering slicing files generated using the algorithms of this Service, they shall comply with national regulations on AI-generated content labeling, and shall not tamper with, forge, or remove the technical labels attached by the system in accordance with the law.
