HeyGears Partners with ASO International

ASO International is the leading orthodontic lab in Japan with over forty years of orthodontic experience. In 2021 ASO International partnered with HeyGears and ordered their first HeyGears printers, the UltraCraft A2D Ortho. Since then, they have included the UltraCraft A2D and the High-volume Enabler (HiVE) module.

ASO International began with the production of orthodontic study models and later expanded to manufacturing all orthodontic appliances. ASO International first introduced digital equipment into its workflow in 2007 and since then has relied on digital innovations to enhance its production output. ASO International currently has manufacturing bases in Tokyo, Japan, Honolulu, Hawaii, and Manila, Philippines. 

In 2018 they launched their AsoAligner Digital. It is now produced with clear aligner models printed using UltraPrint-Dental Model TF UV. The material is formulated for dental thermoforming and has a fast printing speed. Model TF UV is a reliable material with high precision and extremely fast printing speeds. This key feature encouraged ASO International to use the material for their AsoAligner production. UltraPrint-Dental Model HP UV is also used for other orthodontic applications.
